Trend or exception?

Transport via regular container services is an attractive option for the heavy lift and project cargo sector. Boskalis is currently shipping a whole 450-tonne component of a ship to Singapore with the CMA CGM regular container service.

Rotterdam responds to the demand for special transport facilities of this equipment. The Port of Rotterdam has floating cranes, pontoons and tugboats to handle the transhipment on the waterfront without obstructing container transhipment.
