More than 7 m width load transported in Poland
Exactly 7.05 m width cabin module for Oil Rig platform was delivered to Siarkoport in Gdansk by Scandinavian Express. Next the cargo reached its final destination - Oil Rig platform in Norway.
With so wide load on the trailer, which taken two whole lanes of the road, police and pilots assistance was required as well as disassembling the road infrastructure. Transportation route led trough the Gdańsk city centre and cable stayed bridge to Siarkoport.
Our oversize department used Scandinavian Express special-truck fleet units to transport the cargo: Volvo FH 460 tractor 6x4 (twin-tag axle) with Faymnoville Mega Low Bed Trailer.
It was one of the widest oversize load transported in Poland. Project was managed by the Scandinavian Express company.
