"Oversize Baltic" is known globally

Even the project has finished the results of the “Oversize Baltic” are spreading wide all over the world. The long standing cooperation between Klaipeda University, state institutions and Klaipeda Science and Technology Park has developed traditional transport and energy related conference gathering policy makers and business from Lithuania, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Germany, Sweden and Norway.

 

On June 2011 in theinternational conference “The Baltic Sea – gateway to Eurasia” among other transport topics project “Oversize Baltic” was also presented. Communication manager Andrius Sutnikas from Klaipeda Science and Technology Park participated in the panel debates with state, ambassadors and business organizations from Europe and Asia discussing transport business experience and perspectives after crisis. The stakeholders from Asia were interested in OTIN system and general idea of integrating German, Sweden, Poland and Lithuania transport systems  making South Baltic attractive area for oversize cargo transportation and large freight operations.
The information delivery towards East was enhanced by advertisement on the International Transport Business Magazine „JURA MOPE SEA“ which is fresh information source of transport and energy topics for European and Asian policy makers and business. The article was published in in four languages (English, Chinese, Russian and Lithuanian) enjoying readers from Kazakhstan, China, India, EU, Belarus, Russia, Turkey, Singapore, Philippines, Panama, Madagascar, USA and Canada.
